PM Kisan 12th installment every farmer will be get Rs 2,000 before Diwali!

Staff Reporter,New Delhi: Operational from December 2018, PM Kisan is a Central Sector scheme with 100% funding thtough Government of India. Under the scheme, an income support get by farmars of Rs 6,000/year in three equal installments is offered to all agricultural land holding farmer families. State Government and UT administration identify the farmer families which are eligible for support as per scheme guidelines.

The total Rs 6,000 annual amount is payable in three equal instalments of Rs 2,000 each, every four months.

The central government released the 11th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) scheme in May this year and is soon set to credit the 12th installment eligible farmers’ accounts. Reports indicate that PM Narendra Modi might transfer the much-awaited PM Kisan 12th installment to farmers' account before Diwali on October 17.

The Upcoming12th installment could be released during the inauguration of the two-day summit of Agri Startup Conclave and Kisan Sammelan being organised by the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.

The first installment of the year is disbursed between April and July, the second between August and November and third between September and November.
